Staff were generally friendly; the front desk and coffee shop were welcoming. the concierge's aggressive marketing tactics tarnished the experience. I felt rushed and misled into a commitment. Amenities and activities were plentiful, but the lack of cleaning during our 10-day stay was unexpected. The living room layout was impractical, offering little space for family interactions. Improvements in cleanliness and concierge approach are essential.

The Historic Powhatan's stunning grounds provide a serene escape, complemented by well-appointed two-story cottages featuring full kitchens and laundry. Despite minor cleanliness issues in my unit and some discomfort due to temperature control, the spaciousness and tranquility of the property made for a worthwhile stay.

Our suite was so spacious, featuring a full kitchen and a cozy sun room! The kids loved all the activities, especially the pools and putt-putt. The staff made everything even better with their friendly service, especially during my child's birthday dinner!

Spent Xmas in a cozy resort, close to historical sites and with comfy beds and washer & dryer inside. Enjoyed cooking in a well-equipped kitchen, saving money. The friendly staff gave us a room overlooking a beautiful lake, perfect for our family.

Some minor parking challenges, but swiftly resolved. A slight feeling of pressure to attend a time-share presentation, but easily declined.

Rooms were huge and comfy, plenty of space for everyone. Pool area was great, especially at night with the lights on!

I loved how easy it was to stroll to nearby attractions like Colonial Williamsburg, just over 6 km away, and the beautiful Greensprings Interpretive Trail, only almost 2 km from the resort, not to mention a short walk to Veterans Park, perfect for a family picnic; the spacious condo felt like home with a great kitchen to cook together, making it a fantastic stay, but the parking lines at night could be easier to see for better convenience.

Wow, what a lovely stay! We were welcomed by a kind guard, spotted deer and geese on the beautiful grounds, and checked in by the sweetest staff. The pools were a blast, and the spacious rooms were comfy. Although our room had a lingering maple syrup smell, it wasn't a big deal; plus, the walk to the pool and courts was good exercise for the kiddos! 😊
