Clean and spacious rooms with super comfy beds were a highlight, and breakfast offered a delicious variety. Josh at the front desk was a rock star, accommodating my 95-year-old dad with a downstairs room without hesitation. rain leaked into our room, and there was a persistent alarm in the lobby that dampened the mood. The elevator was also a bit temperamental, and the shuttle service was a hassle rather than a convenience. Despite some issues, the attentive staff and overall comfort made for a worthwhile stay.

Great for getting around Fort Lauderdale with exceptional value. Breakfast was awesome and well-stocked.

I enjoyed the convenience of being just a mile from the cruise terminal and surrounded by various dining options, like the lovely German restaurant just a block away and many fast-food places within a few steps, making it easy to grab a bite after my walks; in addition, it was just 500 meters from Bill Keith Preserve Park, where I could relax and soak in the scenery. The staff was friendly and professional, and the hotel had a great free breakfast to start my day. the cleanliness of the room could be improved as I noticed some dust and scuff marks in the bathroom.

The bed was very comfortable, providing a restful sleep after a long day. While the room was spacious and well-cleaned, it did have a slight musty odor that lingered. The air conditioning was effective, but it was quite chilly, making it uncomfortable at times. Temperature control was tricky. The noise level was generally low, ensuring peace and quiet. housekeeping didn’t refresh towels or make the bed during our stay, which was unexpected. It would be beneficial to offer daily housekeeping options upon check-in. The overall cleanliness of the bathroom was commendable.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a spotless lobby that set the tone for my stay. The pool area sparkled under the sun, making it hard to leave my lounge chair! Breakfast was a delicious surprise, with hot eggs and biscuits that fueled my day perfectly.

Special shoutout to Josh for his exceptional service, accommodating my father’s needs without hesitation. housekeeping fell short with linens and bathroom cleanliness. The elevator situation was inconvenient, with one out of service. Noise from rowdy guests disrupted sleep, a considerable oversight for an “airport property. ” Communication regarding room service and late check-out privileges needs improvement. Small gestures can lead to returning guests. Potential for excellence is clear, but execution must match. I’ll consider returning, but there are crucial areas to address.

Great family-friendly stay with excellent service

Our family of six had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn Express. Jaime's shuttle service was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The spacious, clean rooms and convenient, delicious breakfast made our stay enjoyable. The pancake machine was a fun highlight for the kids!

Room smelled fresh upon arrival & breakfast had great variety. Staff was friendly and professional. The location was convenient & facilities were superb.

Room AC didn't cool well, elevators had issues, and guests smoking near the pool bothered me. Payment confusion led to multiple charges post-stay.

The room was spacious enough for all of us, no more tripping over each other. The airport shuttle was handy, making it easy to get to our cruise on time.

It wasn't cheap, but it was still reasonable for what we got.

I was really frustrated when the shuttle to the airport broke down. We had to scramble last minute for a taxi, adding stress to what should have been an easy morning. It ruined our travel experience completely!
