I had a fantastic stay at this place. The location is perfect, allowing me to explore all the best sights without needing a vehicle. I loved being able to walk everywhere and even take the train. The staff were gracious, easy going, and professional. The amenities were top-notch, from the spa and wellness center to the indoor swimming pool. The Crow's Nest brunch and spa personnel made sure I was taken care of. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view from the Crow's Nest during sunset was simply breathtaking.

I recommend this hotel to everyone.

The location was perfect for exploring the Iditarod and downtown area, with 4 different venues to eat and drink. The Crow's Nest upstairs was a great spot for drinks, while Fletcher's and the Whale's Tail offered delicious, affordable dinner options. The suite had excellent views and comfortable beds, with enough space for a rollaway bed in the living room. it exceeded expectations and is considered one of the best hotels in the city.

We had a fantastic stay with a great location, clean room, and stunning view. The hotel had excellent facilities, including a sauna in the gym. The gourmet restaurant on the top floor was outstanding, with knowledgeable staff and exquisite food and wines. The front desk went above and beyond by upgrading our room and giving us complimentary breakfast in the lounge. The concierge was super helpful, providing detailed information about places to visit and driving routes, even offering bear spray for our safety. The view of the mountain and lake from our room was amazing, and we will definitely stay here again in the future.

I had an amazing stay at The Hotel Captain Cook. The view from my room on the 17th floor was absolutely fantastic. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of Anchorage, allowing me to easily walk around downtown and explore. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant experience.

The hotel had excellent amenities, including a sauna and whirlpool that I enjoyed every day. It was a great way to relax and unwind. the location of the hotel was perfect, as it was within walking distance to everything. This made it convenient for exploring the area and accessing various restaurants and shops. One thing I really enjoyed was the opportunity to see the Northern Lights. the hotel offered a car rental service, which allowed me to go out and try to catch a glimpse of this natural phenomenon. Although I didn't get to see the lights, I was able to see the beautiful Milky Way instead.

The junior suite that I stayed in was a bit dated, and the price for the second three days was quite high compared to other hotels of a similar type. the bathroom in the suite was below par, with a small, dated bathtub and stained surfaces.

We especially enjoyed the delicious beef stroganoff in the pub and the excellent service provided by the valet team. we were spoiled with a relaxing and comfortable environment.

the location was perfect for me as it was right in downtown Anchorage. I was able to walk to many wonderful restaurants and explore the area easily. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were comfortable with amazing views of Cook Inlet from the Captain's Deck. I also appreciated the attention to detail and the basic amenities provided. Plus, breakfast was included in my rate and there were plenty of options to choose from.

The only downside was the inability to find a decent espresso coffee in the lobby breakfast room. It would be great if the hotel could improve this aspect and meet the standards of an otherwise great experience.
