Perfect beach access and fun attractions just a stroll away

I absolutely loved how this place was just steps away from the beautiful beach, providing free beach chairs and umbrellas, and the fun lazy river pool was a hit for my family; it’s also a short walk of about 15 minutes to Walmart and Target, plus there’s so much to explore nearby like Pier Park, Gulf World, and amazing dining options like Shuckums Oyster Pub and Margaritaville all within a kilometer; American breakfast was included, making mornings easy and enjoyable but parking was a bit of a hassle since it’s across a busy street.

The room was clean and spacious, with vaulted ceilings that made it feel airy. Large windows provided a fantastic view, although my specific room faced the street instead of the ocean. The walk-in shower was impressive, and the kitchenette added convenience. The bed was comfortable, but temperature control could have been better; the room felt a bit warm. Noise from guests outside was noticeable, especially at night. I appreciated the in-room safe and ample storage options. the bathroom cleanliness was lacking, with footprints on the floor and a slightly sour smell. an accommodating space with potential for improvement.

The location was unbeatable with private beach access right outside. Our room had a comfy bed and a balcony with stunning ocean views. The breakfast spread was a delicious surprise that fueled our beach days!

Hyatt Place Panama City Beach offers breathtaking ocean views right from your balcony. The friendly staff made my stay enjoyable, and the clean facilities added to the charm. Enjoy the delicious breakfast and the heated pool—definitely a place I’d happily return to!

The room had heating and air conditioning, which was great for adjusting the temperature to my liking. I appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in the room, but I wish there were more options for tea flavors. The sitting area in the room was comfortable, but I felt that the terrace or patio could have had better garden furniture for a more relaxing experience. I also noticed that the toiletries provided were of good quality, which was a nice touch. The room had an AM/FM alarm clock, which was useful for waking up on time, and the flat-screen TV was a good size for entertainment. I found the curtains in the room to be a bit outdated and in need of a refresh. Housekeeping was efficient, but I would have preferred more frequent cleaning during my stay. I think the hotel could benefit from having more shops or commercial services on-site for added convenience. I did not have the chance to experience a welcome drink or happy hour during my stay, which was disappointing as I usually enjoy these amenities at other hotels.

The staff was super friendly and always cleaning up. We enjoyed the pool area and the great breakfast every morning!

I was really frustrated with the breakfast situation. No bacon, and those pancakes were rock-hard. For the price we paid, I expected much better options. It was such a letdown to start our mornings that way.

The pool layout was nice and the happy hour special was a great touch. Check-in was chaotic, and the room wasn’t clean.

Impressive hotel for the price. Clean, contemporary vibes with spacious rooms. Worth the extra $30 for a beachfront balcony—breathtaking views in the morning and sunset. Breakfast was fresh, and the patio seating was a nice touch. The kids loved the pool's lazy river, but be cautious with younger ones; the current is strong. A few downsides: some staff read like they'd rather be anywhere else, and parking is inconvenient. The bathroom cleanliness was subpar, and communication with cleaning staff was challenging. Nonetheless, the positives far outweigh the negatives. Great value, excellent location, and welcoming staff made for a memorable stay. I highly recommend it for families.

Some staff were incredibly helpful, like the front desk employee who helped with our extension, but others were less pleasant. There were cleanliness issues in the bathroom, which detracted from the experience. Despite the hiccups, the pool area was heated and inviting, making for a nice way to unwind after the day’s activities.
