I absolutely loved the homely atmosphere, especially the cozy seating areas where I could relax and read a book. The hotel's spacious layout and easy accessibility, with well-placed handrails and ramps, made it very convenient for seniors like myself to move around comfortably. It felt easy and safe to navigate, and the beautiful decor made the stay even more delightful.

I would only wish for a better selection of activities for senior guests. Some tailored events or gentle exercise classes would have been lovely for us, the more mature guests, to enjoy.

The Market counter at the hotel was a lifesaver for me. After a long day of exploring Raleigh, I returned to the hotel exhausted and starving. I was delighted to find a selection of hot baked items and prepared sandwiches available at the counter, just like having my own personal 24-hour bistro.
