Wonderful Getaway

I recently stayed at The Annex, Midships for a four-day getaway and it was truly wonderful. The main inn, where check-in and breakfast are located, is just a short walk away and is absolutely lovely. From the moment I arrived, Terry, the innkeeper, greeted me with a warm and friendly attitude. The support staff were just as polite and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the inn and grounds were beautifully maintained.

The Inn at Osprey Point is located in a lovely area, close to the marina and right on the shoreline. Guests can enjoy beautiful views of the bay and take advantage of the outdoor Adirondack chairs. The rooms are spacious, clean, and elegant, with luxurious soft sheets. The staff is friendly and professional, providing excellent service and a tasty breakfast with a variety of delicious items.

One negative aspect was the casual approach to mask usage by non-dining staff, which may be concerning for those with immune-compromised individuals.

The hotel lacked certain amenities that would have made our stay even better. the lack of a gym or fitness center was a bit of a letdown for my partner and me, as we missed our daily exercise routine.
