during this holiday, my stay in midland at la quinta was great! the pet-friendly policy and cleanliness impressed me, and the overall comfort exceeded my expectations from previous visits. the breakfast was above average, really ticking the boxes for a perfect start to the day.

the shower pressure was a bit weak.

My room was spotless and the A/C was quieter than a church mouse! The bathroom sparkled like a diamond, making my stay super comfortable.

But good heavens, the doors slammed louder than my neighbor's kids at a birthday party! I felt like I was living in a wind tunnel every time someone walked by.

the room was clean, I’ll give it that, but my door wouldn’t lock unless I slammed it, how charming! Also, for some reason, I expected, like, a complimentary water upon arrival—just basic common sense, right? I almost considered a glowing review, but I couldn’t overlook those little details. such a disappointment.

Comfortable bedding and a refreshing pool made for a pleasant escape! The breakfast also exceeded my expectations, providing plenty of tasty options.

The staff's attention to detail seemed lacking, as certain amenities weren't properly stocked during my stay, which was disappointing.

The room was heaps big and clean, but the shower had weak flow, and the breakfast was pretty average. Overall, a sweet stay though!

La Quinta really impressed me with a breakfast that went above and beyond. The staff member kept everything stocked for those of us who love a lazy brunch! Plus, the WiFi held strong, which is essential for my work while traveling.

But here’s where the shine dulled a bit, after a minor accident, I was hit with a $28.50 'Damage/Smoking Fee sheets' charge for a small wet spot. When I queried the manager about it, she insisted it needed special washing. I felt like it was a bit of a stretch.

la quinta's location is super convenient, right near the best spots. the staff was really friendly and helped us check in a bit early. i also loved the seasonal outdoor pool, perfect for relaxing! plus, we appreciated that they accommodated our pet without any fuss.

breakfast selection left much to be desired. While the scrambled eggs and biscuits were decent, I really wished for more hot options. On a positive note, the pet-friendly policy was a huge plus for us and the staff was very accommodating.
