Coffee could've been better, and missing breakfast was a bummer, but there’s great food nearby! Definitely a good value for the price.

I stayed at the Montvale for an authentic experience in Spokane. The hotel checked all my boxes - clean, comfortable beds, and located in a safe area. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The second-floor lobby had a great coffee and tea station with beautiful music. The breakfast voucher for $5 at Incrediburger was a wonderful bonus. The room was spacious and the hotel had a lovely ambiance.

The hotel was beautifully renovated with a vintage decor that I really enjoyed. the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. the staff was courteous and helpful, providing excellent service. the location was ideal, as it was within walking distance to downtown attractions and activities. the hotel had a charming vibe and a convenient location.

First, there was a train track nearby, and the noise from the passing trains woke me up multiple times throughout the night. the hotel was situated near bars and college students, resulting in loud noises and disturbances outside during the late hours.

The location in this downtown area was ideal, with secure parking available for our motorcycle. We were able to walk to breweries, food places, and coffee shops easily. As those taking off early, we appreciated the 24/7 coffee and tea available in the charming lobby. The historic feeling of the property and friendly staff were impressive. Plus, the downtown location with walkability was a great value. We also enjoyed the excellent meal delivered to our room from the Gilded Unicorn downstairs.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown! The location couldn't be better, with great restaurants and shopping right at your doorstep. It's a perfect spot for arts and entertainment enthusiasts, as it's close to the theater district and entertainment centers. The staff provided excellent service, and the basic amenities in the rooms, like the plush and comfortable bed, cable TV, mini fridge/microwave. Another bonus was the unique atmosphere of the converted rooms-turned-bar/restaurant, The Guilded Unicorn, which added lots of character to our experience.

Loved the historical charm and modern updates of this hotel! the unique décor and artwork added a touch of romance to our stay. the spacious bathroom with a double shower was a pleasant surprise. the hotel's location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops nearby. the large room and tall ceilings made us feel like we were staying in a luxurious space.

There were a few drawbacks to our romantic escape. the thin pillows provided were uncomfortable, and we had trouble getting a good night's sleep due to a strange whining noise coming from our room.

This place is fantastic! First of all, the location is perfect as there are plenty of shops and restaurants around here, and I felt safe walking around even though it's quite urban. The service here is top-notch; the room service was prompt and housekeeping kept my room immaculate throughout my stay. I loved the welcome drink upon check-in and the amenities in my room. The heating and air conditioning provided a comfortable temperature, and the sitting area was perfect for relaxing. I was also entertained by the flat-screen TV.
