The location of the hotel was fantastic, right on the main street of downtown. It was very close to the National Quilt Museum, Farmers Market, and lots of antique shops. Plus, the historical significance of the main house being owned by George Washington's nephew was really cool. Additionally, the breakfast provided every morning was delicious and had a great variety of options to choose from.

The neighborhood where the hotel was located felt a bit dreary and my husband didn't feel safe leaving our car in the poorly lit parking lot across the street. There was also a lack of communication from the manager when we tried to contact them on our way.

During my stay at the 1895 Washington, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of my room. The historic property was beautifully decorated, adding a charming touch to my experience. The homemade breakfast provided was absolutely delicious, with a variety of mouthwatering options to choose from. I appreciated the convenience of the fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer available for guests to use. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Despite being located in a downtown area, the room was surprisingly quiet, allowing me to relax and unwind without any disturbances.

The room was well taken care of, with a huge bathroom and an extremely comfortable bed. The kitchen was well supplied with all the appliances needed, and breakfast was great. Valery and Mark, the hosts, were incredibly hospitable. Highly recommended!

The neighborhood has a police station nearby, which made us feel safe at night. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was tasty, and we enjoyed the pleasant common areas.
