Pelham Hotel Reviews
I had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel! The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of everything. It was so convenient to be able to walk to all the sights in the center of town. The hotel is located at 444 Common Street in the Warehouse District, close to several great and affordable eating spots. The staff here went above and beyond to make sure I had a fantastic experience. From the front desk to the manager, they were friendly and accommodating, fulfilling every request I had. The room itself was stunning, with tall ceilings and three windows that let in plenty of natural light. The bed was incredibly comfortable, probably the best hotel bed I've ever slept in. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job, always making sure that the room was clean and well-stocked with fresh towels and sheets. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The staff here need to be trained in customer service, as they went out of their way to ensure that every request we made was seen to. The amenities and facilities provided here were top-notch, and the service was impeccable. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance. I can't wait to come back and stay here again!
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the best attractions in the city. We didn't need to rent a car because everything was so close. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and we loved the quirky personality it had. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the front desk ladies who handled a difficult situation with professionalism. The attached restaurant, The Ruby Slipper, was amazing for breakfast. a great experience.
Nothing to dislike.
The hotel is perfectly situated at 444 Common Street in the Warehouse District, just a step away from the bustling French Quarter. The rooms are equipped with comfortable beds for a good night's sleep and include basic amenities that ensure a comfortable stay. Moreover, the prices are very reasonable for such a prime location.
No negative aspects to mention.
We had a fantastic time here! The hotel was in a very central area, making it easy for us to get to everything we wanted to do. It was also located at the end of the parade route, which was great for us during parades. The service was top-notch, and the room amenities were plentiful. We loved the fact that we could rent bicycles to explore the city, and the housekeeping kept our room spotless. we really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities were excellent, and we appreciated the leisure activities available, such as swimming and canoeing. The hotel's restaurant and bar area were cozy and comfortable, and the staff were more than happy to point out great local food spots if we wanted to venture outside. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting this area.
We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great hotel experience. The staff were professional and accommodating to any requests we had. However, we do think that some staff members could benefit from customer service training so that they can make guests feel more welcome. There were times when staff tried to sell us additional services instead of focusing on making our stay as comfortable as possible.
High ceilings, comfortable beds, great location, nice decor, friendly service, good housekeeping, connected to Ruby Slipper restaurant, good shower.
Could not be improved.
The hotel's location made getting around the city a breeze, with famous attractions, restaurants, and shops only a few blocks away. The valet parking service was a lifesaver, considering the chaotic traffic. The room was clean, spacious, and fully equipped, and the front desk staff was friendly. I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel for its convenient location and excellent service.
The hotel's location was great for our family vacation. It was close to the Mardi Gras parade routes, but not in the busy French Quarter, which made it easy for our family with two small children. The hotel was also conveniently situated for our travel plans on Saturday from the city to another state. Additionally, the hotel was near the city center with plenty of options for food and entertainment.
We were disappointed to find there was no complimentary breakfast offered.
Had a great xmas at this hotel! The room had a fridge and a flat-screen TV, which made our stay so comfortable. The location was amazing - just steps away from Canal Street and within walking distance to Bourbon and Frenchman Streets. We could easily explore all the attractions and nightlife of the city. On top of that, the front desk staff, especially Troy, was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
There were a couple of downsides to our experience. Firstly, upon arrival, the attendant made us wait until the person who brought us left before informing us that we couldn't access our room. It was quite frustrating, especially with children. Secondly, we were asked to pay an additional $3.02 for a tax increase, even though we had already settled our bill. The Wi-Fi was also weak, so we had to rely on our own internet provider to connect with our children. These issues slightly affected our overall experience.
The hotel had a quiet atmosphere, comfortable beds, and clean rooms. The staff at the front desk on Sunday 2/25 was exceptionally helpful and printed my boarding passes and arranged for a taxi. The location was outstanding with easy access to public transportation, and there were nearby dining options like the Ruby Slipper for breakfast. it provided great value and had a charming, "old world" feel.
Felt spoilt, no complaints whatsoever.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel on 444 Common Street in the Warehouse District. The location was absolutely perfect, within walking distance of all the sights in the French Quarter. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive, and I felt well taken care of throughout my stay. The room was spotlessly clean and maintained by diligent housekeeping every day. Plus, the breakfast included in the stay was a great touch and saved me some money.
All was great, no improvements needed.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving experience at this hotel. The holiday decorations were cheerful and made us feel at home. The staff was friendly and accommodating, offering us complimentary hot cocoa and cookies upon arrival. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main attractions and public transportation. Additionally, we loved the cozy lobby with the fireplace where we spent some relaxing moments.
There were a couple of things we didn't particularly enjoy during our stay. The room was slightly too warm for our liking even when we adjusted the thermostat, and the parking was quite expensive. However, these minor inconveniences did not detract from our overall positive experience at the hotel.
Great atmosphere, not like common chain hotels. Knowledgeable concierges, comfortable bed, and quiet room. Convenient location, within walking distance to major attractions. Quintessential rooms with high ceilings and moldings. a pleasant experience.
Perfect location near French Quarter, street cars, and Harrah's Casino. Traditional charm and welcoming decor. Helpful and organized staff. Great breakfast at The Ruby Slipper.
Nothing, all was good.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, as it was within walking distance of all the sights in a very central area in the French Quarter. The staff were friendly and did accommodate a room change at our request. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing and had all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. the service was excellent and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate every request that I had.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family.
I recently stayed at Pelham for a few nights and I absolutely loved it! The hotel is conveniently located near the quarter and has a unique and beautiful charm. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were beautifully decorated. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, especially the day front desk attendant who helped us arrange a swamp tour. The restaurant next door, Ruby Slipper, was a great spot for breakfast or lunch. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and I was pleased to find that it was wheelchair accessible. a great find in NOLA!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
