We stayed at the Portland Regency Hotel & Spa for two nights at the end of our trip around New England. The bed was incredibly comfortable and they quickly provided a cot for our daughter. The bathroom was spacious and we appreciated having a safe in the closet. The coffee service and extra pastry for our daughter were a nice touch. We also loved the old-fashioned room keys. The turndown service with weather forecast and chocolates was a special touch. the value of our stay was excellent.

The staff was professional and treated us with respect. The old port was beautiful and the hotel was perfectly located with easy access to everything. The shower was great and the bed was very comfy. We enjoyed a great drink at the lounge and appreciated the complimentary coffee. The check-out process was easy and the staff was friendly. The location was close to restaurants and shops, which was convenient for us as a family with kids. The rooms were clean and we liked the turn-down service. The Armory was a nice place to get a drink with complimentary appetizers. We also used room service, which was very quick. The valet service was reasonably priced. we loved the location and amenities offered.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, just a short walk to Commercial Street and all the local restaurants and shops. The period decor of the hotel added a charming touch to the overall ambiance.

The lack of toiletries in case of an emergency was a downside. It took me a while to locate a store in the area, and I expected the hotel to have these items readily available.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, right in old town next to the harbor. You can easily walk to the congested waterfront and downtown Portland. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure your stay is comfortable. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with basic amenities and comfortable beds. Plus, the breakfast is included, which is a great value for money.

The only minor issue was that some areas of the hotel seemed a bit worn and could use some updating.

We loved the location of this hotel, which is situated in the heart of Old Town next to the harbor. We could easily walk to all the shops and restaurants and leave our car behind. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with shuttle service free of charge during a snowstorm. They even drove us to rival hotel for our dinner reservation. The decor of this venue was stunning, especially during the holidays. Everything was impeccably clean, and we loved the amenities provided, such as in-room safe, tea and coffee facilities, and flat-screen TV.

This charming hotel is ideally located in the heart of the historic Old Port area, with shops and restaurants just a short stroll away. The period decor adds a touch of elegance, and the attentive staff go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The gym is also a great asset for fitness enthusiasts.

The chairs in the rooms are not the most comfortable and lack a table for convenience.

I had a great stay at the Regency Hotel And Spa in Portland. The building's uniqueness and friendly staff made it a delightful experience. The valet team efficiently handled the lack of onsite parking, and the location was perfect for exploring nearby restaurants and gift shops. The bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing, and the bathroom was large and clean. The Tavern bar downstairs had awesome bartenders and strong drinks. a lovely hotel with a great location and friendly atmosphere.

Excellent complimentary coffee service in a nice cozy room, as well as a great breakfast at their indoor restaurant. Location was superb, with plenty of stores and restaurants just a short walk away. the hotel's historic decor was a nice touch and our room was very clean and quiet.

The valet parking option was quite expensive, and we ended up parking our car further away to save some money. But overall, we had a great city break and would recommend this charming hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Parking in the area can be bothersome, with limited on-street options and expensive valet parking. The city had a noticeable presence of panhandlers and sketchy individuals, which made us uncomfortable walking the streets.
