During our recent stay at a resort in the San Diego area, my partner and I were pleasantly surprised by the level of luxury and service we experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like valued guests, with personalized attention and a warm welcome. The resort's staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional.

The bungalows were so comfy and the resort was beautiful. The turndown service and complimentary drinks and snacks were a hit with our kids. The 5-star room felt like a Ritz or 4S Suite with separate sitting area and patio. The food at Veladora and Pony Room was delicious, and we loved dining outside while the kids played games. Having the pool to ourselves was a bonus. The casitas were well-appointed, and the bathroom with the Japanese toilet and steam shower was the best I've ever had. The hot tub on the patio and the sunsets were stunning. The fresh orange juice delivered to our door and the food from the restaurant were all amazing. The tennis courts and coaches were also top-notch. a fantastic experience!

Great bathroom, with Japanese toilet and steam shower. Patio with hot tub, stunning sunsets, and hot air balloons. Overall a fantastic experience.

The spa services were fantastic, with a variety of treatments to choose from. the private rooms with plunge jacuzzis and outdoor showers added to the relaxation experience. the location of the hotel was great, with close proximity to Torrey Pines for hiking and enjoying the scenic views.

The food at the restaurant was not up to par, especially compared to the Veladora restaurant. the pool area could have been cleaner, with the pool floor, tables, and restrooms needing more attention.

The location of Rancho Valencia Resort And Spa is ideal for those seeking a peaceful getaway. Nestled near the coastline and close to Torrey Pines, it offers a serene atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the San Diego area. The rooms are exquisitely decorated, providing comfort and luxury. The spacious bathrooms with heated toilet seats add to the overall indulgence. The staff is attentive and friendly, making guests feel welcomed and valued. The breakfast options are delicious and can be enjoyed on the private patio. The resort boasts excellent facilities including a gym, tennis courts, and pools.

One negative aspect is the slower service experienced at the Pony Room during dinner.

During Christmas, we stayed at a resort that had excellent amenities and facilities, including a spa and multiple pools. the breakfast buffet was tasty and had a lot of options for everyone. In terms of location, the resort was situated in a beautiful and peaceful area, surrounded by trees and nature, which made for a relaxing and scenic experience. We also appreciated the additional activities offered such as yoga and hiking.

We did not like that the resort seemed to be tailored towards a specific type of clientele, with some staff members seeming to prioritize those with more money over others. some of the food served at the resort was overpriced and lacked quality.
