I recently stayed at the Residence Inn By Marriott Philadelphia West Chester/Exton and found the check-in process smooth and accommodating. My room was clean and comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful Valley Forge National Historic Park nearby. The staff were attentive and provided thoughtful recommendations for local dining, which I greatly appreciated. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including scrambled eggs and turkey sausage, which were enjoyable to start my mornings.

However, I was taken aback by the $12 parking fee, especially since it seems unwarranted in this suburban setting with ample surrounding parking. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired—there were noticeable issues like leftover laundry items from previous guests and a general lack of attention in the housekeeping department. Furthermore, I noticed the breakfast offerings were somewhat limited, which didn't meet the usual standards you'd expect at a place like this. There were also murmurs about inconsistent Wi-Fi service, a definite drawback if you need to get online for work. The decor and furnishings also feel outdated, which detracts from the overall experience.

The breakfast spread was amazing! They had fresh waffles, bacon, a variety of milks, and even yogurt. The pool area was really nice too, with plenty of towels available. Oh, and the kitchen in the suite was fully equipped — great for family meals!

I stayed for three nights and had some ups and downs. The staff was welcoming, but I had an issue finding kitchen utensils. I ended up putting clean dishes away from the dishwasher myself. Breakfast options seemed limited, but the room was spacious with separate areas to relax. The location is good, especially for those like me who explore nearby attractions. Overall, I enjoyed my stay despite some minor inconveniences.
