the service at abernathy was unforgettable in the worst way possible. the tv remote was impossibly confusing, and my room had no full curtains—practically an invitation to everyone outside! and considering the blunders I experienced, I expected something special to compensate, but I guess that’s too much to ask for. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Staying at the hotel was fantastic, especially since we were just a short walk from Clemson's campus. We enjoyed the quaint breakfast options and loved hanging out at the onsite bar. The room setup worked well for my family and dad, making it feel cozy and welcoming.

My kids wished for a pool to cool off in after a long day exploring.

Perfect for game day fun

The Abernathy Hotel is all about location and comfort! We loved the spacious, well-appointed room, and the Clemson-themed decor truly brings a homey feeling. It’s just a quick walk to the campus, making it super convenient for game days. The breakfast options were delightful—definitely don’t miss the avocado toast! Plus, the staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

While our stay was enjoyable, the pull-out bed mattress was not the greatest—it could use some extra padding. It would also be nice to have some slippers available for the wood floors. Small details but could elevate the overall comfort.

I had a nice time during my recent stay. My room was spacious and clean, perfect for winding down after a long day. I enjoyed visiting the onsite bar for drinks in the evening. The close proximity to everything made my visit convenient. I appreciated being able to walk around the area easily, which reminded me of how we explore beautiful spots in Italy. The staff provided a warm welcome, making me feel at home.

Staying at Abernathy was a delight! The room was spacious and clean with a cozy layout, and the proximity to campus allowed for easy exploration. Plus, the onsite bar and breakfast offerings were lovely, making each meal a treat!

However, I faced the same issue with mold in the shower as during my last visit, and the soap dispensers could’ve been better stocked. Given the price, those details need some attention, but the overall experience still managed to shine!
