As a tourist, I loved the modern and stylish decor of the rooms at this historic building. The bathroom had excellent lighting, and the shower was top-notch. The comfortable mattress ensured a good night's sleep, and the large, clear television was a nice bonus.

The front desk staff was very helpful, going above and beyond to meet our needs. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the convenience of the parking and transportation options.

The room was AMAZING! the best was so comfortable. the staff was great! They were very inviting, check in/out was very easy, they called a bit after we checked in to make sure everything was good, and were also helpful in the morning for breakfast recommendations. the overall design and appeal of the building was beautiful. Valet was also very convenient and that staff was also fantastic.

This hotel is a great value for money. It has attentive staff, basic amenities, and is located close to everything downtown Hartford has to offer. The rooms with a king bed and an outside viewing window are a unique touch.

We got great value for our money at The Goodwin in Hartford. The King Studio room was elegantly designed and spacious, with luxurious towels and a spa-like bathroom. The location was convenient, with excellent dining options nearby and attractions within walking distance. The staff treated us like family, from the helpful valet who found us a parking space to the caring desk manager Evan. The historic architecture with updated touches made our stay even more memorable. And we can't forget the maple-cardamom donuts at breakfast - they were fantastic!

This place is fantastic! It's within walking distance of major attractions and is great when going to the XL Center. The service here is top-notch - the staff is quick to fix any issues and they even have people who can open the doors for guests with luggage. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities you could need, including a mini-bar and a flat-screen TV. The staff is very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The facilities here are great too, with a fitness center, a bar/lounge area, and a restaurant. we had a wonderful experience here.

The hotel was beautifully restored and had great amenities. the room and bathroom were gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. Also, the staff was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised by the hot/cold breakfast buffet that was offered, it felt like dining in a high-end restaurant.

The check-in process was extremely slow and frustrating. Additionally, there were limited dining options in the area, so we couldn't find a place to eat.

The place was impeccably clean and the breakfast, although slightly limited, was tasty with good value for the vouchers. The on-site coffee shop was a great touch and the location was perfect for my needs.
