Breakfast could also use an upgrade. one day featured a croissant "sandwich" that surprisingly had no egg, which was unexpected based on earlier reviews touting a generous spread. No firewood in the common area made it chilly when we wanted to relax. Also, there were no extra touches like wine and cheese in the evening as advertised, which would have made the stay feel more special.

I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The shower had not been properly cleaned, and there was hair left behind, which made me uncomfortable. Additionally, the bathroom window did not lock, raising concerns about privacy and security during my stay.

We were blown away by the charm, especially the evenings by the water where we could see sea otters playing while enjoying a glass of wine. The morning breakfasts were out of this world, homemade pastries daily and fresh fruit that we looked forward to each day.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but for what you get, it feels worth it.

Man, the location was just perfect for beach walks and chilling at the restaurants—super lekker! They had a little fridge and snacks for us, and that fireplace in the lounge area was a welcome touch after a long day. But the cherry on top? That cat! Came snuggling under the covers with me, such a sweet little chommie!

Only thing was the room felt a bit cramped for my bags, but not the end of the world, really.
