I always stay here. First time, staff suggested local food delivery. Free Wi, Fi, parking, security, outdoor dining. Perfect for me. Children's play area, wheelchair access, pet, friendly, air conditioning. No smoking. Coming back for Christmas! .

Visiting the Land of OZ at Beech Mountain, our stay at Shady Lawn was a delightful surprise. Despite its proximity to the road, the peaceful ambiance made for a restful night. the lobby felt like a cozy living room, and the owner's warm welcome was truly heartwarming. the updated room, with a lovely bathroom and walk-in shower, exceeded our expectations. the charming cafe and fire pit added to the homey feel. the breakfast room doubling as a card-playing space was a unique touch.

Had a great time at this cozy mountain inn! the room was clean, comfy, and beautifully decorated, giving off a perfect mountain getaway vibe. It was conveniently located, making it easy to reach attractions in the area. the updated bathroom with a walk-in shower was a nice touch, and the staff recommended a fantastic breakfast spot nearby that we loved.

The room had a few downsides. the carpet had some stains and the bed was quite low to the ground, which was a bit uncomfortable.
