Our stay at the Thompson was exceptional! We stayed for three nights, enjoying the partial river view in room 419. the staff's friendliness was unparalleled, from the doorman to the housekeeper. the complimentary house car service was a plus, with Mr Frank being incredibly accommodating. the modern decor, rooftop bar views, and excellent service made our stay unforgettable. Could not have asked for a better experience.

The hotel’s modernly elegant decor and spacious rooms were a pleasant surprise. the location, just a short walk from the river, made exploring the city easy and enjoyable. the rooftop bar, restaurant, and pool added to the range of facilities available during my stay, providing great options for relaxation and entertainment.

Despite the positives, some aspects fell short. the lack of information provided during check-in and about certain amenities was disappointing.

As backpackers, we loved the modern retro decor and comfortable beds. the large windows offered stunning views. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room, located across from the elevator and ice machine, had an unexpected disturbance with loud vacuuming sounds and banging above our heads late into the night. To make matters worse, we were surprised by early morning room service entry without any prior notice or knocks, disrupting our sleep and even interrupting a work video conference call. Unfortunately, the noise and lack of privacy were major inconveniences during our stay.
