The Thunderbird Inn in Savannah exceeded my expectations with its retro charm and exceptional staff. Annie, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel's retro atmosphere, complimentary snacks, and pet-friendly policy added to the overall positive experience. Although the room had some minor cleanliness and noise issues, the prime location and nearby landmarks like the Savannah Historic District and Forsyth Park allowed for easy exploration and family bonding. The garden area and leisure room provided relaxation opportunities, enhancing our enjoyment during the visit.

The location was perfect, with everything I needed within walking distance. The wifi was fast and reliable, the A/C kept me cool, and having a mini fridge in the room was convenient.

We stayed at The Thunderbird Inn for two weeks during the winter holidays. The hotel had a great location, close to the visitor center hop on hop off trolley and Smokey's Pizza Joint. We didn't need to use our car the entire stay. The hotel was very clean and had a unique 60s styling. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We loved the eco-friendly policies with real coffee mugs and plates. Many downtown attractions were within walking distance.
