I loved how everything was just a short stroll away, with beautiful sights like the historic district and the waterfront just minutes from my door, and it was super easy to enjoy delicious local eats at places like Spudnik and Lulu's Chocolate Bar, not to mention the friendly staff made my stay so comfy, but I did notice the room could use some blackout curtains to help block out light at night.

A prime choice for a holiday in Savannah with fantastic value for money. Super friendly staff made my stay enjoyable.

The room was huge and had a kitchen area where we made some snacks and saved money the kids loved the pools there were two and they had a blast playing around all day. The staff was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed including providing extra towels and recommending fun things to do nearby.

It wasn’t cheap but for what we got it was worth it.

The Thunderbird Inn surprised us with its quirky charm and prime location near the Welcome Center. The complimentary breakfast of donuts and coffee was delightful, and the friendly staff made our visit even better. Rooms were clean and well-equipped with thoughtful toiletries. A truly enjoyable experience!

The bathroom was so tiny it felt like a game of Tetris.

The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfy. Temperature control was effective, allowing us to adjust it to our preference. We loved the retro decor, which added charm to our stay. noise from the busy street kept us awake at times. The shower was updated and spacious, but we experienced low water pressure. We appreciated the friendly staff and their helpfulness with maps and directions. Cute little perks like donuts and fresh popcorn were delightful, though breakfast options were limited. Mould was present, likely due to humidity, but it didn’t detract much from our experience.

Great location. Walkable distance to most attractions. Enjoyed unique touches like popcorn and lemonade in the lobby. Smooth check-in. cleanliness varied. I found the floor dirty upon arrival, and it raised concerns given I traveled with a dog. Staff was unaware of dog-friendly resource lists. Odd odors lingered in the lobby; garbage wasn’t emptied regularly. Room had a musty smell and poor water pressure. Bathrooms were cramped—difficult to navigate. Some amenities felt neglected; outlets didn’t work, and dust settled on surfaces. Noise from traffic and other guests was disruptive. Quirky charm exists here, but attention to detail needs improvement. A solid 4-star approach, but a 5-star experience is still a desire.

The location was spot on, within walking distance of all the sights and events. Plus, the price was just right for a six-night stay. The staff surprised us with a lovely card for our 35th Anniversary, and the morning coffee and donuts in the lobby were a nice touch.

There were a few inconveniences like a broken toilet that couldn't flush properly, and parking fees that were unexpected. the seedy characters around the property made me feel uncomfortable, leading to a restless night.

The room was clean, but the musty smell and flickering bathroom light were off-putting. Parking at $15 felt steep, but the overall experience was quirky and enjoyable.
