The room was a disaster—cracked door, peeling paint, and a funky smell that wouldn't go away. The beds felt like sleeping on rocks, and the pool was a total mess with too many people and visible grime. Not cool at all.

I appreciated the larger refrigerator and microwave, making it easy to store snacks. The flooring, unlike typical carpet, felt much cleaner. The partial ocean view from the 7th floor was a highlight. The balcony offered a private feel, ideal for relaxation. I noticed the indoor pool was not heated, and the carpet seemed outdated. The vending machine was low on items, and the surrounding area required a bit of a trek to find dining options.

Great location with a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. Our room was clean and updated, with nice amenities like a coffee machine and flat-screen TV. The heated pool was perfect. Friendly staff sold hot dogs poolside. Breakfast lunch at the cafe was a steal. Beach was peaceful, not crowded, and close by.

Tropical Winds Resort offers a clean and spacious oceanfront room, perfect for relaxing and enjoying sunrises. The staff is accommodating and the poolside restaurant serves tasty meals. minor maintenance issues like a hanging door frame slightly detracted from the overall experience. Worth a visit!

The ocean view from our room was stunning, and the spacious layout exceeded my expectations. Access to the beach and the clean outdoor pool were definite highlights. the indoor pool was too cold to enjoy, and I noticed mold on the ceiling. Service felt a bit lackluster; a warm smile from the staff would’ve made a difference. The location was perfect, just outside the busy areas, yet close to everything. Despite some hiccups, the value was good, and I wouldn’t mind coming back to enjoy the peaceful setting and those ocean views again.

Amazing beach access and close to Daytona's best attractions!

We loved our stay here because we were right on the beach, with easy access to pristine sands just steps from our room, plus the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and Pier was only around 2.5 km away, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll, and we could quickly hit up local spots like the Ocean Center or explore charming areas like Beach Street, all while enjoying our spacious and comfortable room with a kitchen and a lovely ocean-view balcony to unwind after a day of adventure; however, they could improve the outdoor patio experience as there was some water from the air conditioning unit making it less enjoyable.

Perfect spot for the kids, just steps from the beach! The pool was open and we could grab snacks from the cafe whenever we wanted.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but worth it for the fun we had.

The location right by the ocean is fantastic. Room cleanliness was lacking, and the bathroom was too small for us.

Cleanliness is a priority, and this hotel excels in that area. My room was spotless, with not a trace of dust or hair. Housekeeping did an outstanding job. The location offered a lovely view of the beach and dolphins in the morning. Unfortunately, the restaurant fell short, lacking a standard breakfast option and limited open hours. Staff were generally accommodating, but noise levels could be disruptive. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, and the amenities did not match the price point. Be prepared for challenges with the elevators and service. An excellent cleaning staff can only go so far; improvements are necessary for a more satisfying stay.

The balcony view was stunning, truly the highlight of my stay.
