I recently stayed at Hotel Royal William in the trendy Saint-Roch neighborhood for my first trip to Quebec City. The staff was friendly and went the extra mile to help me with tours and accommodations. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and impeccably clean, with a convenient kitchenette. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the main city and surrounded by trendy restaurants and bars. The amenities were great, with a lovely breakfast restaurant and the option to upgrade for a small fee. a fantastic stay!

The bed in the room was amazingly comfortable and the room itself was spacious. The neighborhood was also great, away from the tourist areas and with decent prices for a busy summer weekend.

The hotel is located in a busy street in Quebec's downtown, close to major attractions. The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot and experiencing the quaint touristy streets located "up the mountain". My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Royal William, Ascend Collection. The location was perfect for exploring the old city, with hidden gems like shops, restaurants, pubs, and breweries along the way. The renovated room was clean and well-equipped with a microwave, sink, fridge, and even ceramic plates and cutlery. The amenities were impressive, including a coffee machine and a relaxing bath tub in one of the rooms. The staff, especially Francis, were friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable.

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Royal William for five nights. We chose this hotel for its convenient location, which allowed us to easily explore the city on foot and enjoy the nearby bike path. The staff at Ascend Hotel were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. On one occasion, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the waiters went out of their way to accommodate our language barrier. Additionally, the manager offered us breakfast when our room did not meet expectations. Furthermore, the morning receptionist was unbelievably helpful in assisting us with a medical emergency. The hotel may not be located in the downtown tourist area, but it provides easy access to a pharmacy, restaurants, and cafes.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our time here. They made us feel welcomed and provided excellent service. The location of the hotel was excellent, as it was within walking distance to the charming Old Quebec City walls. Additionally, there was a grocery store just a short 7-minute walk away, making it convenient for us to grab any necessities. The hotel was well maintained and offered spacious rooms with an amazing comfortable bed. We also loved the neighborhood, as it was away from the tourist swarm in the Old Town. This made our stay even more enjoyable, especially during the busy summer weekend.

Very clean room and bathroom, great complementary breakfast and free internet. Conveniently located near public transport and an excellent restaurant.

Slightly dated room decor and noisy AC unit. Longer walk to the Old City, but public transport nearby makes up for it.

There was a musky smell and dim lighting in our room, which gave it a slightly unappealing atmosphere. The mattress was not as comfortable as we had hoped, as it lacked cushioning and felt springy.
