The hotel's location was great - walking distance to Dallas Road and the inner harbour area. The lobby was charming and the staff very friendly. Although there were no elevators, the staff was more than happy to help with luggage. I would recommend a stay at this hotel.

We stayed in a spacious ground floor apartment with a good-sized kitchen. The location was great, with a supermarket and popular attractions within walking distance. The on-site car parking was convenient and we felt secure with our car nearby. The staff were exceptional, friendly, and provided us with valuable information and tips.

had an incredible stay in James Bay! charming Victorian building in a beautiful neighborhood. Convenient location near attractions, friendly staff, and fantastic food. Loved exploring Victoria and the coziness of the inn. Highlight was definitely the IMAX at BC museum. Highly recommend!

Nestled in a lovely tree-lined neighborhood of houses up from a beautiful harbor, this hotel location is a perfect spot to explore the city, close to the ocean for a nice walk. You'll find the attached pub a nice place to grab a drink or a bite to eat. The rooms are clean, comfortable with a charming old-fashioned feel. The staff is very friendly and takes good care of the guests, and you will love the free coffee/tea/water in the lobby.

The hotel has some quirks due to its age, but it adds to the charm, like sloping floors and smaller bathrooms.
