I recently stayed at Hotel Lavas Tacotal for my vacation in Costa Rica. I stayed for a week and had a great experience. The hotel's location was perfect, as it was near all the main tourist places and a minimarket. The staff was incredibly kind and always had soup and shampoo available. The landscaping of the hotel was stunning, with beautifully kept grounds. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Another great thing about this hotel is that they accept pets. I was traveling with my service dog and they were very understanding about it, not charging me any extra fees.

I highly recommend this hotel.

Lavas Tacotal provided a fantastic experience from start to finish. the hotel's location was perfect, situated between the town of La Fortuna and the national park entrance. the spacious room had a stunning view of the volcano, and the daily room service kept everything clean and comfortable. the breakfast selection was excellent, with delicious hot and cold options. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and they were quick to address any maintenance issues.

The location of this hotel is excellent in regards to the volcano Arenal, offering a full view of the volcano on a clear day. the rooms are clean and offer a beautiful view of the grounds from the porch. The staff was helpful in resolving any issues, such as trouble with the room key. The price for the stay was also very reasonable, especially considering the proximity to the volcano.

The Wi-fi is only available in the lobby, which can be inconvenient for guests trying to communicate with their families or use the internet in the privacy of their rooms.

We loved our stay in this hotel with a stunning view of Arenal Volcano right outside our window. Location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and taxis just a few steps away. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The breakfast spread was adequate and the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the greenery on the property and the peaceful atmosphere. Plus, the air conditioning was a lifesaver.

The hotel's location used to be so beautiful, and even though it has changed, it still remains green with beautiful blooms. The grounds were well-maintained and I even spotted some hummingbirds during my stay. Additionally, the hotel is fairly close to the many attractions in the area, making it convenient for exploring. Another great aspect was the mini market located just a 3-minute walk away, which was really handy.

That the hotel was a bit far from the town center, requiring us to take a taxi every time we wanted to go out for dinner or explore the area. This added some extra expense to our trip.
