Conveniently located near Semuc Champey and the caves, this jungle oasis offers clean cabins, friendly English-speaking staff, and a complimentary shuttle service from Lanquin. The on-site restaurant and terrace provide a relaxing atmosphere, while the stunning views and quiet pools make for a peaceful visit. a great choice for exploring the park and enjoying the surrounding nature.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the convenient location just a short 5-minute walk from the entrance gate to Semuc Champey. The property's proximity to the river and being downstream from the pools provided a beautiful view. The staff at El Portal De Champey was extremely friendly and helpful, offering shuttle services and assisting with transportation arrangements. The rooms, while semi-enclosed, were comfortable and suitable for our needs.

Felt incredibly welcome during our stay, no reason to complain.

We had a fantastic stay at El Portal De Champey! The staff, especially Chejo and Chacha, made us feel right at home. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the park entrance. The room was comfortable with a great view. The pool was clean and the atmosphere was lively. a magical experience!

We had an incredible time staying here with our friends. The location couldn't be better, just a short walk to all the stunning sights of Semuc Champey. Our room had a private patio overlooking the beautiful river, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing convenient transportation options and ensuring a smooth stay. Plus, tubing down the river was such a memorable experience, even though it was short.

We found the menu at the restaurant lacking regional dishes, which would have been a nice addition to the international options.
