pros 😄: We had a fantastic stay at Kuretakeso in Takayama. The location was perfect, just 30 seconds from the back entrance to the JR station and less than 5 minutes to the Nohi bus center. Being so close to the train station and bus depot made it convenient for day trips to onsen villages and Shirakawago. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with modular bathrooms and powerful showers. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a great variety of delicious dishes. it was a great value for money and we highly recommend it.

Plus, there are great dining options nearby, including a Japanese McDonald's next door. The room size was also comfortable, and the hotel provides all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they even offer a happy hour with free drinks. my stay at Kuretakeso Takayama Ekimae was much better than I expected.
