The hotel had four swimming pools, including two for the whole family, a semi-Olympic sized pool for sports activities, and a shallow pool for children. The kids had a blast splashing around and playing in the pools all day long. In addition, the hotel offered a variety of fun activities for everyone to enjoy, such as water aerobics, water polo, pool volleyball, and dance classes. The games room with air hockey, table tennis, table football, pool, and poker tables kept our more active family members entertained. The friendly and engaging staff made sure everyone was having a great time, and we couldn't ask for more in terms of family-friendly amenities.

For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated space or activities specifically designed for fathers.

They even had plenty of healthy options, which I loved. The hotel facilities were clean and well maintained. The location, right in front of the arches and surrounded by rolling green mountains, was absolutely stunning. And the breakfast was delicious!

Guests can also enjoy a refreshing swim in the beautiful pool and indulge in relaxing massages on the beach.

The shower's weak stream of water can be disappointing.

The value for money was excellent and the room was stunning, with breathtaking views of the ocean and forest. The location was perfect, away from the hustle and bustle, but with all amenities within walking distance. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The reception manager, Claudia, was a true asset to the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of Mexican, American, and international options. The live music at the bar was a highlight, and the night shows were entertaining.

The beach at Barcelo was absolutely stunning. Crystal clear waters and soft sand made for a perfect beach day. We spent hours lounging and enjoying the beautiful views.

The hotel has downgraded the quality of their food and drinks. the beach was overcrowded with people selling stuff and shabby restaurants.

The staff was incredibly sweet and always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They spotted me struggling with my infant and rushed over to help regardless of what was needed. Every staff member in the resort deserves 5 stars!
