We got great value for our money at Catalonia. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff treated us like royalty. The location was perfect, surrounded by tropical rainforest and just steps away from a wonderful beach.

The food for breakfast could have been better.

The beach at the resort was absolutely stunning, with crystal clear waters and soft white sand. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. Additionally, the staff at the resort were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any requests or questions. the location of the resort was also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities.

The food at the resort was a disappointment. the selection and quality of the food at the buffet and the a la carte restaurants were subpar.

The lobby is stunning and the welcome is warm. They offer a refreshing towel and cocktail. The restaurants are chic and the food is delicious. The walkway to the rooms is green with lots of nature. The pool and beach are beautiful with plenty of activities.

loved our recent stay at this beach & spa resort in xpu ha! exceeded expectations & was the perfect relaxing getaway for a couple of days. Catalonia really impressed us with its friendly staff, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and beautiful beach views. privileged access to the Beloved restaurant was a highlight!

On the Beach, reserved for Privileged guests, is absolutely stunning and not crowded at all. The food at B-Loved, by far the best restaurant on the resort, is absolutely delicious. You'll be happy to see that there's a bar on the beach where you can order your favorite drinks.

The seaweed situation on the beach can be a bit unpleasant.

The beach was stunning with white sand and clean sea. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, including a pool area accessible via a bridge through the mangrove forest. The staff at the restaurants were attentive and there was minimal to no wait times to be seated, even at the Italian restaurant. Additionally, the hotel offered a la carte breakfast right on the beach.

Exceptional service, warm welcome with cold towel and fruit cocktail. Chic restaurants with delicious food. Beautiful pool, green walkway, and amazing beach with unique fruit bar. Hospitable staff dedicated to every need.

For the cost we paied, is VERY good deal. We got even un upfrade, so for the cost of the standard room, we got a Junior suite and the "priviledge" entrance. That was very nice. the room was nice, big and confy as you can expect from a 5 star. Big shower, big bathroom, nice terrace. the staff was very very nice: all the waiters and room-cleaners supersweet and polite. the 5 different restaurants can be pretty full at peak time in peak season, but usually you will not have a problem. the 5 different restaurant are nice because you can change style and food, but none of them is very very good. they are all average. the best restaurant was the Grill because he prepare very simple food but very high quality and perfectly cooked. the buffet restaurant was good. average for a 5 star hotel, but still good with big variety of food. the swimming pool was no deep at all and in the evening the water was pretty warm after many hours of sun. the best for us was the nightlife at the pool and Tequilla Bar. the biggest thing I need you to understand, Ellias Urbano Lifecoctel, he is the best bartender I have ever had! Whatever you pay him should be doubled. Excellent personality, excellent drinks, fast, super human being! Raul Estrada that works with him at that bar is also a great bartender and another super human being! the Mexican restaurant is second on the list and the Italian is good too but the portions were too huge for us. Rauxa has great shows sort like a Cirque del Soleil. Diego is also a great employee, does great hosting at Rauxa as well as entertainment at the pool. the rest was great: nice and high quality food, lots of drinks, comfy rooms , clean pools, clean and nice beach. You also can rent a car or book an activity right in the lobby, super convenient.

Cleanliness: Everything was clean and well-maintained. Hotel facilities: The hotel had amazing facilities including pools and Jacuzzis. Location in the specialty restaurants: The restaurants offered a great variety of delicious food. Staff: The staff were friendly and always ready to help.

We had a luxurious stay at this hotel with exclusive amenities that met our needs. the staff was attentive and the spa and wellness center provided a relaxing experience. the location offered beach access and outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers. the outdoor dining area offered a variety of themed restaurants and buffet breakfast. We were pleased with the dining and private facilities, as well as the entertainment in the bar/lounge area. Cons: the evening entertainment can be hit or miss depending on the organization. it did not detract from our positive experience at this venue.

Great staff. Super helpful and friendly. Beautiful location. Gorgeous beach and pool area. Definitely worth the upgrade to get privileged status. Food at BLoved was my favorite. Abelita was a close second.
