The outdoor dining options were lovely, especially with

the garden courtyard ambiance that made meals enjoyable. Overall, the historic charm of the hotel was nice, but I did expect a bit more from the amenities.

The noise levels in the rooms are unbearable during events!!! HVAC systems are ineffective at controlling temperature. my room was either too hot or too cold!!! The strong fragrance in the lobby is overwhelming!!! I even noticed frequent maintenance issues during my stay.

All good, fulfills its purpose. Spacious rooms with comfortable bedding and excellent pool views.

The place is a charming blast from the past! Loved the clean room and that delightful antique vibe. It's just a hop away from the Riverwalk and the adjoining mall.

But my shower took longer than a Monday morning to drain, and I'm pretty sure I heard a ghost debating with my closet. What a wake-up call!

The historic charm of this hotel brings a unique atmosphere with its elegant public areas and characterful rooms. The coffee and tea service left something to be desired since daily replenishment required a request, which felt inconsistent with higher standards. On a positive note, the location is superb, allowing easy access to nearby attractions. We particularly enjoyed the delightful risotto offered during our meals, complementing the overall enjoyable stay.

I was blown away by the rich history throughout the place. The Menger Bar is where Teddy Roosevelt recruited the Rough Riders, and I had a drink there while soaking it all in.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but still worth it for the experience.

Had a splendid two-night getaway! I loved our spacious Classic King Room, and the buffet breakfast was simply divine. While we enjoyed the comfortable stay, it was a bit chilly with no heat.
