We had a blast at this place! The rooms were clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay great. The location was perfect, close to Waitomo for our tour. The kitchenette was basic but there was a communal kitchen with extra amenities. The river view from our room was beautiful and we enjoyed eating on the small deck. we loved the value and would definitely recommend this place!

We decided to stay at this hotel for a weekend getaway, and we were pleasantly surprised by its convenient location. It's situated right next to a supermarket, which made it really easy for us to grab some snacks and drinks for our stay. being close to the train line added a unique charm to the atmosphere, as we could hear the gentle chugging of the trains passing by. The room itself was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom with all the necessary amenities. The staff provided excellent service and made sure we had everything we needed. it was a great experience with a lot of convenient facilities.

That the exterior of the hotel could use a bit of cleaning and weeding. This didn't affect our overall enjoyment of the stay, but it would have been nice to have a more polished exterior.

I recently stayed at a hotel nestled in a lovely rural valley, surrounded by nature. The location was picturesque, with a view of a peaceful river. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities, including a hairdryer. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The proximity to a cozy café made breakfast convenient. Despite being close to train tracks with occasional noise, I still had a comfortable night's sleep.

The constant noise from the nearby road with heavy trucks passing by was a minor drawback.

The bathroom was also large and well-maintained. We were pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of coffee, hot chocolate, teas, and milk provided. The added bonus of having a toaster, microwave, and dishes allowed us to easily prepare our own breakfast in the room. The entire facility was impeccably clean, with fresh bedding and towels provided daily. The comfortable and slightly dated decor added to the overall comfort and met all of our needs.

The location of the lodge is very convenient, just across the road from a cafe where you can grab a quick bite to eat. It is also relatively close to the famous Waitomo glow worm caves, making it a great base for exploring the area. Moreover, the lodge is situated by the railway track, offering a unique and interesting view of passing trains from the other side of the river.

The price of the rooms might be a bit on the higher side compared to other hotels in the area.

Spent a delightful New Year's night at a motel with modern and clean rooms. the beds were spacious and comfortable, and the reception staff was very friendly and accommodating. the shower was just amazing, and there were plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. We loved the little balcony looking out over the creek, and we enjoyed watching the trains rumble by on the other side. Bosco's Cafe, located just across the road, served delicious breakfast and lunch.

Although I had selected a room with a river view, the view of the creek was partially obscured by tall grass, making it difficult to see. Apart from occasional rumbling trains on the other side of the creek and a few passing trucks on the main road, the noise wasn't much of a concern.

The location was perfect as it was within walking distance to restaurants along the river and close to the Waitomo caves. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Sam who helped me with a late check-in.
