i had a great 11-night stay at terranova! the rooftop pool had breathtaking views, and the location was perfect—just a 5-minute walk to the seaside. the staff were super friendly, and the breakfast, especially the traditional panama soup, was delicious! parking was easy to find too.

this hotel has seen better days, that’s for sure. the furniture was just downright old, and calling the staff unfriendly would be an understatement. heaven forbid a paying guest like me gets a complimentary upgrade, right? i almost thought of giving a good review but the blood-stained pillow case was just the cherry on top of this nightmare.

Bring your own toiletries, as the bathroom lacks basics and space for personal items. A vacuum cleaner would also be helpful for cleanliness.

rooms could really use better lighting. I appreciated the spacious layout and found the pool area clean and inviting. I also liked being close to the Malecón, where I enjoyed peaceful walks, but it felt a bit dim at times.

A mini fridge would be a welcome addition!!! Renovations are overdue, as the rooms show wear and tear. Also, the lack of an iron or guest bathrooms outside rooms is quite puzzling!!!

The pool was a great escape, kept clean and refreshing! ! I loved lounging there after a long day, just soaking up the sun and enjoying the view. The air conditioning in the room was ice cold, perfect for beating the heat.

It wasn't cheap, but still acceptable given the overall experience.

I had a comfortable stay for five nights and enjoyed the location. I appreciated the hot water in the shower. There was a nice range of restaurants nearby. The room had air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The pool provided a great way to relax after a long day. Although I found the amenities lacking, like no kettle in the room, the efficiency of the staff was a positive aspect. I didn't experience any flexibility regarding late checkout, which was disappointing.

Great staff and location!

This place has friendly staff who helped us out a ton during our stay. The breakfast was delicious—honestly, loved the fresh fruit options! Just wish our room came with a working fridge. it would’ve made life so much easier. Also, sometimes the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, which was a bummer while trying to plan our adventures.

The room was spacious and the bed had more pillows than I could count. Loved the rooftop pool for unwinding after a day out. Early check-in and luggage storage made life easier too!

No microwave for midnight snacks—tragedy! Also, a bit more light at the desk would’ve really gone a long way—don't I need to see my fabulous self?
