This hotel is located in a really nice and quiet area of the city, away from the touristy areas but close to the best metro line for all the hot spots. The rooms are well-furnished with the necessary basic amenities and electronic key card, including a fab shower and an additional sofa for sleeping. The hotel provides a good breakfast with tasty and decent quality products for a great value.

All was perfectly fine.

The staff were super cool and hooked us up with all the info we needed to party like locals. We checked out Port de Barcelona and Rambla del Raval, and they were dope spots to hang and vibe with a young crowd. It was like being part of the Barcelona nightlife scene, all from the comfort of our B&B.

Only thing we wished for was a chill rooftop bar at the B&B. It would have been sick to have a spot to pregame before hitting the town.

During our stay, we found the hotel to be in a great location, close to the metro and within walking distance of just about everything. It was situated in the nice Eixample area, surrounded by many must-see sights in the city. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious food and drinks. we were very satisfied with our stay.

That the windows could have used better soundproofing, as we experienced some noise from the road at night.

The hotel is located in a very nice area, close to the subway and in walking distance to the city center. The building itself is very nice, as it was built in 1905. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including Spanish meats, cheeses, and breads, as well as fresh fruit and juice. The indoor lounge area and outdoor courtyard provided a comfortable space to work or relax.

The bathroom door did not close completely.

Everything was perfect - from the ideal location and stunning decor to the friendly staff. the building itself is striking, and we loved the communal area with its bookshelf and the beautiful terrace. We even had a silent room which suited us perfectly. the common spaces were comfortable, and the breakfast on the terrace was delicious. It's a recommended experience, even though the entrance has an old and precious elevator. We can't wait to return.

We stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast for two nights with our 11-year-old. The building is amazing, with a charming apartment-like feel. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us great tips on places to visit and eat. While meals aren't provided, there's a nice coffee machine, plenty of fruit, and a vending machine for snacks. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and clean, with a fabulous shower. The decor is stylish and the antique elevator is a must-try. The location is perfect, close to the Diagonal metro and surrounded by cute cafes and bars. We loved our stay at Casa Mathilda!

The location was insane, minutes walk to all the best spots in the city. Surrounding restaurants and bars were super cool. The room, although small, had high ceilings and a seriously comfortable bed. The terrace was a jaw-dropping oasis. Ample storage space and a spacious shower in the well-thought-out room. The building itself was beautiful.
