I had a fantastic stay at a small family hotel in the heart of Zug. The location couldn't have been better, right on the waterfront with stunning views. I was able to enjoy the convenience of having their own amazing restaurant, as well as other wonderful dining options just steps away. The ferry and the lake were right outside my doorstep, offering a chance to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The room was spacious, modern, and well-equipped, with a great AC that kept me cool during the hot weather. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel for its central location and wonderful amenities.

The only minor issues I encountered were the pillows, which were not supportive, and some difficulty with the air conditioning and heating controls in the room. However, these were very minor inconveniences and did not significantly impact my overall enjoyable stay.

We stayed at a hotel right on a small square by the Zugersee and it was amazing! The location was perfect, with all the restaurants just outside our door. The hotel itself had a high-class restaurant and the room was spacious and modern with a beautiful view of the lake. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was delicious with excellent coffee. We also enjoyed the convenience of having an ice machine available for use.

The hotel offered a great breakfast selection and the free wifi was reliable. the staff at reception and in the dining area were very friendly. the location of the hotel was convenient, with shops and the train station nearby.

The bathroom was extremely small. It was so cramped that I had to open the shower door whenever anything dropped, as there was barely any space to move.

The location is excellent, close to the old part of town, the lake, and the plaza with a market. The room was spacious with a great view. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet.

Staff are friendly and helpful. New restaurant is now part of the establishment and offers excellent dinner options.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Lowen Am See! The location in the charming old town square of Zug was absolutely perfect. Our room overlooked the beautiful lake, providing a stunning view. The room itself was well appointed with modern amenities, including air conditioning, a coffee machine, and a good selection of TV channels. The bathroom was spotless. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as a firm bed and occasional noise from nearby music, our overall experience was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Zug. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location, clean accommodations, and delicious breakfast.

Amazing views of lake from balcony! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the complimentary breakfast and the fact that the hotel was just a short walk away from the train station. Perfect base for exploring the area.

We loved staying at the Lowen am See. The friendly staff always accommodated our requests. The rooms on the lake-side were clean, quiet, and had beautiful views.
