The Renaissance Lucerne Hotel excels in location, just a short walk from the train station and the historic old town. However, the room had a strong musty smell, and the air conditioning was ineffective, mainly relying on hallway control. Additionally, the noise from the nearby bars can disturb sleep, particularly on weekends. Great for short stays when exploring the area.

Additionally, there was a rubberized mattress protector that was quite noisy whenever we moved, disrupting our sleep. Despite reporting these problems, they weren’t resolved during our short stay, leaving us disappointed with the room's condition.

the renaissance is super convenient, just a 3-minute walk to the train station and a 5-minute stroll to chapel bridge. our room was cozy at 16.78 sqm, with comfy beds and excellent soundproofing. the breakfast was abundant and delicious, and the staff were efficient and friendly. definitely a pleasant start to our mornings!
