We were impressed with the central location of the hotel, situated perfectly between the historic medina and the Ville Nouvelle. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us navigate the busy streets of Tunis during a protest. Their assistance made our stay much more enjoyable and stress-free. The hotel itself has a unique charm, with its historic building and colonial entry. The French doors in our room opened onto a square below, providing a great view. Despite some minor issues like room size and cleaning products with strong fragrances, we appreciated the historical aspects of the hotel. we would recommend staying at this hotel for a genuine and exciting piece of history.

We had an amazing stay in this place. The location on the edge of the market made it very convenient for us as tourists to find authentic restaurants and cafes easily. The staff were so accommodating and friendly that we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. We were impressed by the range of room amenities provided, such as the in-room safe, soundproofed rooms, and the mini-bar. Room service was available 24/7, adding to our comfort and convenience. The hotel also had a beautiful sun terrace and outdoor swimming pool area where we could relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right at the entrance to the Medina, which made it convenient to explore the historical district. It was also just a 10-minute walk to the train station, making it easy to get around. There were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area, so we had everything we needed right at our fingertips.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of Medina. The staff were friendly and even took me to the terrace for a beautiful view. The decor and period decorations were eye-catching. The breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold dishes.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the centre of the city. It is conveniently located near a light metro station as well as the central market. Plus, it's close enough to an outlet to plug in my computer. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with adjustable temperature and great lighting. The bathroom is spacious and the shower has excellent pressure. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast could be improved, but the omelettes are delicious.

The dinner options at the hotel are not great and can be quite expensive.

Had a fantastic Easter break at a lovely hotel nestled in the heart of the city. The staff were wonderful, they couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay and we were even offered complementary drinks on arrival. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the historic sites of the city, with many of them just a short walk away. The hotel was also surprisingly quiet despite being in such a central location. The rooftop terrace was definitely a personal highlight, providing stunning views of the city and the perfect spot for enjoying a morning coffee.

That the shower in our room leaked badly, flooding the bathroom and making the floor dangerously slippery. It was a shame as the room was otherwise very comfortable and well-appointed.

It is also conveniently located near the train/metro station right on Place de la Victoire. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with clean bathrooms and a strong Wi-Fi connection. The friendly staff provides excellent service, and the breakfast offers a variety of delicious options including salad. The beautiful historic building and intricate murals add to the charm of the hotel.

The reservation desk had limited English proficiency, which made communication a bit challenging.

We had a fantastic stay at Royal Victoria. The room had a lovely decor, and it was clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly, lending us umbrellas and providing excellent service. The location near the Medina was very convenient for tourists, allowing us to easily explore and enjoy the area. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at dar el Jed, recommended by the hotel owner, who even arranged for us to be picked up afterwards. We would definitely stay at Royal Victoria again on our next trip.
