I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, situated between Taksim Square and the old market center. It was so convenient to have easy access to all the transportation methods, such as the metro, bus, and tram. Additionally, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing great recommendations on what to see and do in this city. The breakfast was delicious, and it was such a treat to enjoy it while taking in the wonderful view from the hotel's 10th floor rooftop. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel facilities.

The breakfast selection was varied and the hotel's proximity to popular areas like Sultanahmet, Taksim, and Galata Port made it a convenient choice.

The Golden City Hotel provided us with breathtaking views of Istanbul. The central location made it easy for us to explore the city's attractions. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist us. The rooms were comfortable and clean, perfect for a family with 2 small kids.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely amazing, offering a perfect view of all the tourist areas like the Galata Tower, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and Spice Bazaar. The hotel was also conveniently located right next to the metro station, making transportation very easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I especially loved having a sea view. The staff were exceptional, always helpful and extremely kind. They went above and beyond to assist me, even when my mother fell ill and we needed assistance with medical care. The highlight of my stay was the breathtaking view from the rooftop terrace, which made for the perfect spot to enjoy the complementary breakfast every morning. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated the complementary amenities provided, including the well-stocked mini-fridge in my room. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to popular tourist sights and restaurants.

Although the building had a charming historical feel to it, the narrow and steep stairs could be a potential issue for those with mobility concerns. The elevators were small and slow, and could use an upgrade.

The hotel is in a great location, close to everything by foot. Right in front of it is a beautiful park by the golden horn, perfect for a leisurely walk. Plus, it's in near proximity to all the main sites in the city. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. The staff provided excellent service and were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good variety of options and the rooftop restaurant offered stunning views.

The restaurant was overpriced.

The location is perfect, situated between two bridges on the other side of the city. We enjoyed walking around the area where there are plenty of seafood restaurants and shops to explore. The service here is excellent from room service to bell staff, we were always made to feel welcome. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities we needed including a mini-bar and in-room safe. Plus, the staff at reception are very nice and always available whenever we have any requests.

We would definitely come back to this venue because of the leisure facilities such as the garden area and the TV room. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, and the luggage storage lockers were a great help.

Convenient location near public transportation. Excellent view and ambience. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well-maintained rooms. Good restaurant with satisfying options.
