The staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing! They were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were always available to chat and were very professional. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the city. We were able to easily walk to all the main attractions and shops. The breakfast at the hotel was outstanding, with piping hot food served to our table. They even provided us with an early breakfast to ensure we wouldn't miss our train.

The room we stayed in was quite small. It felt a bit cramped, especially with limited space in the en-suite bathroom.

I stayed at Charnley Gold for one night to see the show Dirty Dancing, and the owners, Martin and Annabella, were brilliant. They couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located near amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and have already booked to return in August.

Lack of entertainment.

The location was ideal, as it was within walking distance of the seafront, the tower, and the central pier. The bathroom, although small, was clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The bar had a fair price and even had a retro game of space invaders, which was enjoyable. Despite the room, we had a pleasant stay overall.

Room was spacious for me and my grandson. Ensuite a bit small for larger individuals. Breakfast had a good variety. Owners and staff were friendly. Bed was a bit lumpy for me, but my grandson loved his bed.

The prices for drinks at the hotel were also very good, great value for money. The staff was excellent, always attentive and friendly. The rooms were comfortable, although a bit small for a family. However, they had everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options including cereal, toast, fruit, and breakfast bars for those who preferred a lighter meal. The full English breakfast was definitely worth having, although it did feel a bit rushed at times, probably because the hotel was quite busy.
