It's situated on a main road junction, which made it easy to access compared to being in the town center. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a good selection. The restaurant got pretty busy in the evenings, but it added to the lively atmosphere.

The rooms were a bit shabby, with stains on the carpets and bathroom tiles that needed regrouting.

The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The staff, especially Nigel, were incredibly pleasant and helpful throughout my stay. The location of the hotel was perfect, very close to Cadair Idris for hiking and not too far from a beach for leisurely walks. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the dinner at the restaurant was outstanding.

The food at Cross Foxes - Bar Grill Rooms was absolutely amazing. Every meal, from dinner to breakfast, was delicious and satisfying. The menu offered a variety of choices, and I highly recommend trying the lamb pie with rosemary pastry or the venison goulash. The drinks selection was also great, and the prices were fair.

There were a few minor drawbacks during our stay. One concern was that the food could be a bit overwhelming for those with smaller appetites.

The hotel is located in a really nice area with lovely scenery. It is nestled in the mountains and has ample parking available. The staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast served was excellent and tasty.

Great food and drinks, stylish and modern decor, friendly and cheerful staff, good facilities, beautiful scenery and walks nearby. Some cracking views.

the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the location is perfect, with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy during warm weather. the food was absolutely fantastic, both for our evening meal and breakfast. We were also impressed with the comfortable and spacious rooms, especially the luxurious bed. a memorable stay that we would definitely recommend to others.

Not easy to locate at first.

Delicious food and drinks at fair prices, with unique options like lamb pie and venison goulash. Great breakfast choices. Super comfy bed. Spacious and warm room with a seating area. Large, modern, and clean bathrooms. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Shortbread biscuits and fresh milk provided in the room. Fantastic location for exploring Snowdonia National Park.

Their warm hospitality made our two night stay truly enjoyable. the food at the restaurant was absolutely amazing, offering excellent value for a 5-star experience. the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. the bar had a great selection of beers and the complimentary glasses of bubbly we received for our anniversary were a lovely touch. the hotel itself had comfortable rooms with attractive interior design, and the bathroom was sleek and well-finished. we had a relaxing and comfortable break with no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel is located near the city center which makes it easy to get around and see all the sights. the room was very clean and comfortable, with modern facilities such as a new bathroom and comfortable beds. the breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and a good choice of cooked options.

The room windows did not have great shutters to keep out the early morning light. there was a bit of noise from the traffic as the hotel is close to the main road.
