A Hidden Gem

We recently stayed at a charming hotel in the heart of a picturesque village. The receptionist was welcoming and the room was beautifully decorated, with quirky features and luxurious amenities. The hotel restaurant offered delicious food and impeccable service. We enjoyed a cozy evening in the lovely guest lounge. Although breakfast service was a bit slow, the food was tasty. our experience at Tweedies Bar And Lodge was delightful.

I recently stayed at Tweedies and had a lovely time. The lounge and bar had a homely feel with clean and stylish decor. Upon arrival, there were G and Ts waiting for me, which was a nice touch. The location in the heart of Grasmere was perfect, with breathtaking scenery surrounding the area. The breakfast included had a wide variety of options, from a full English to continental and even eggs Benedict. Plus, they offered the convenience of delivering breakfast to your room for a small charge. I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This hotel is located right in the center of a beautiful village, surrounded by scenic walks, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. The rooms are well-equipped with modern amenities, including a lovely shower with complimentary shower gel and shampoo provided. The hotel also has a beautiful garden where you can relax and unwind. Breakfast is included in the stay and is attractively served with high-quality food.

I recently stayed at Tweedies in central Grasmere for a few nights and I couldn't have been happier. The exterior and reception rooms were well-maintained and the breakfasts were delicious and served quickly. The price I paid was a special rate, and to my pleasant surprise, I was upgraded to an executive suite at no extra cost. The room had great amenities including a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and a dressing table. Additionally, I had access to the gym and spa at Langdale Country Club, although I didn't use them. The Mews room I stayed in was lovely, with a sitting room and a bedroom on a mezzanine level.

We had a fantastic time at Tweedies in Grasmere. The location was stunning, perfect for walkers. Public transport options were convenient too. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh, tasty local produce. Our upgraded mews room was cleverly designed and clean. The free parking was a bonus. a great stay at Tweedies.

During our Easter break, we stayed in a cozy apartment with a hot tub and private parking. The breakfasts were truly fabulous, and we loved the delightful grounds with stunning views. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings and enjoying a relaxing getaway.

Our apartment was starting to show its age with threadbare curtains and peeling woodwork. The mezzanine bed had limited headroom and was a bit stuffy.
