Our stay in the heart of the town was incredibly convenient, with the hotel's central location allowing us easy access to all the attractions. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the beds comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff provided excellent customer service, always going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was delicious and the cocktails were a definite highlight of our stay. Plus, the hotel's courtyard garden was a lovely spot to relax and unwind in the afternoon.

The lighting over the washbasin was quite poor, making it difficult for shaving and applying makeup.

We had a great stay at this place! The location was perfect for us, just outside the main town centre. We loved that it was in an old castle which was then used as a prison, giving it a unique and historical feel. The staff were amazing, they were friendly, helpful, and gave excellent service. The room was fantastic, spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed, including a sitting area and terrace with garden furniture. The breakfast was delicious and the drinks options in the evening were excellent. we had a wonderful experience.

There was only one minor issue we noticed during our stay. Sometimes the staff at the main reception desk seemed a bit busy and were talking amongst themselves, which made us wait a bit longer to be checked into the restaurant.

Stayed in a small suite with a comfy mattress and loved the standalone tub. Location was perfect, close to the station and everything, yet tucked away from the hustle. Staff went above and beyond, even searching for a lost umbrella. Dominic, the bar supervisor, made amazing cocktails and provided outstanding customer service. Superb conversion of the building into a hotel. Lovely touches in the room made my wife's 50th birthday special.

I loved staying in this hotel! The location was perfect for exploring this beautiful town and its many shops. The building itself was really unique, as it used to be an old castle turned into a prison. The service was fantastic with room service, and housekeeping was very efficient. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities I needed, including tea and coffee-making facilities, and a lovely terrace with garden furniture. The staff from the manager down to the housekeeping team were so friendly and always happy to help.

Lovely hotel with a historic feel. We loved the glamorous bar and smart bedroom. Unfortunately, our room wasn't ready and we had to wait in the bar, but the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a shame we couldn't park at the hotel, but the reception gave us clear instructions on where to park. we had a great stay at Malmaison.

The value for money was great, and the room was cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect, very central, and the staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating.

The location of this hotel was great! It was super easy to get to all the nearby attractions. , they provided complementary drinks and a great breakfast was included. The room itself was pretty nice too -- definitely one of the highlights of the stay.
