The noise level in the evenings was quite high, especially on Friday nights. The music from the bar downstairs was loud and carried through to the rooms, making it difficult to sleep.

The breakfast was delicious, with a good selection of individually wrapped Weetabix, butter, and jam. Ordering more than one pot of coffee was no trouble at all. The rooms were clean and the shower was powerful. We also enjoyed taking a dip in the pool, despite it being a bit chilly.

The hotel's location on the beautiful Saundersfoot sands is unbeatable. It's just a short walk down a steep hill, making it convenient to explore everything this city has to offer. The hotel facilities, including the clean and heated pool, were excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing great service from reception to the bar and breakfast. Plus, the free parking was a bonus.

I had a great stay at Merlewood Hotel! The room I stayed in was clean and spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space and a spacious bathroom. The pool area was amazing and I enjoyed lounging by the pool and sipping on drinks from the bar. The food at the evening restaurant was really delicious. I also appreciated that I always had a parking space available.

One drawback was that the walls were quite thin, so I could hear noise from other parts of the building, which sometimes made it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the TV in the room was quite small, and the WiFi was below average compared to other hotels.
