amazing stay! fantastic location, modern and spacious room, friendly staff. fresh towels and refreshments available upon request. room was soundproof, spotless clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. perfect location, just minutes from the train station and old town. excellent value for money. will definitely return.

Air conditioning was a bit tricky to figure out.

We had a delightful stay at Motel One Edinburgh-Royal for a weekend getaway. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring that we were accommodated next to our family members who booked separately. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and with a lovely view of Princess Street. The well-equipped and spacious rooms were clean and comfortable, with the 24hr bar being an added bonus. We also appreciated the free luggage hold, allowing us to explore before heading home.

We loved the fantastic location of this hotel, right in the heart of the old town. The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to transportation options such as the airport bus and tram. The cleanliness of the room and hotel in general was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a continental spread that was rich and satisfying.

As young people, we loved the amazing location right by the train station, park, and shops. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cool skylight and environmentally friendly amenities. The 24-hour bar had a funky vibe and the reception staff were helpful and articulate. We regretted not being able to try the delicious-smelling breakfast.

Felt like our own home, no complaints at all.
