The room was spacious, warm, and nicely decorated. The hotel staff, including the reception, bar, and restaurant staff, were friendly and helpful. The location, opposite the Angel of the North, was great, especially for those traveling to Newcastle Airport. The hotel had character, with a cozy bar area. Prices were reasonable and there was a nice common area and golf course nearby. The double room was worth the extra cost, as it was comfortable and clean. The hotel even offered electric hook-up for motorhomers in the car park.
