I was pleasantly surprised by the numerous cozy alcoves perfect for sipping tea and relaxing with a book. Every corner of this historic inn felt special, truly capturing the Cotswold charm.

However, I did find the breakfast buffet could use some improvement. Some dishes were lukewarm and it took a while to get the toast just right. Another downside was the sporadic delays in dining service.

i was nearly going to write a good review—until the pool was so disappointingly small and the 'spa' felt like an afterthought. also, there's a price for everything, but my breakfast was a letdown, hard boiled eggs are not what grand was promised. i expected a complimentary upgrade or at least a sweet treat to make it worthwhile. ,

we received a free upgrade to an amazing room with wonderful views. the fire alarm went off twice during our stay, disrupting our sleep.

Good spa, location, dirty windows

We enjoyed long walks with the dog in the beautiful grounds and caught up with our older kids in the cozy nooks of this historic hotel. The warmth of our room was perfect, and the staff's attention truly enhanced our family experience.

My kids wished for more activities for families.
