We had the most delightful stay at the Old Tea House Bed & Breakfast. The location was perfect, right by the river Frome and just a short walk from the lively parts of town. The old world charm of the 1640s building was amazing, and our accommodation was cozy and comfortable. The highlight, however, was the wonderful owner, Debbie. She was a charming host, funny, knowledgeable, and we had a great time chatting with her about the history of the building and Dorchester. The breakfast she served was absolutely delicious, the best we've had in a B&B. We can't wait to return for another visit.

We stayed at this guest house in a suite with a four-poster bed and a cozy lounge that were spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and catered to our dietary requirements. The tea shop below was a delightful experience with fabulous cakes and an interesting history of the building. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making us feel like old friends.

The hotel was full of character and history, which made for a unique and enjoyable experience. the furnishings were quirky and added to the charm of the place. I particularly loved the 4 poster bed in the bedroom and the adjoining large sitting room. It felt like staying in a friend's home rather than a hotel. the breakfast served in the walled garden was a great start to the day. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hostess went out of her way to make us feel welcome. It was also a bonus to have a fridge in the sitting room stocked with wine, as well as coffee and tea supplies.

The lack of a shower curtain over the bath, which made it a bit inconvenient to use the shower. However, this issue was reported and the host was apologetic about it.

I had a wonderful stay at the Old Tea House Bed & Breakfast. Deborah, our host, greeted us warmly upon arrival and showed us to our homely suite straight away. The historic building oozed charm and character, with interesting stories of tunnels and a priest hole behind a fireplace. The breakfast provided by Deborah was more than adequate, with a variety of options including fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries. The location was perfect, with plenty of good restaurants within easy walking distance. our stay was very special and I highly recommend the Old Tea House Bed & Breakfast.
