Despite being located on a road, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The hotel is situated in a beautiful setting, with a lovely walk through the grounds to the river, which was perfect for our dog to stretch his legs. The breakfast served here was fantastic, with a wide variety of hot options to choose from, and the service provided by the friendly owners was top-notch. This hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the surrounding area.

Had an impromptu Sunday lunch at The Plough Inn near a charming village. The smoked salmon starter was divine, followed by a delicious fillet of beef stroganoff. The food was exceptional and the staff were efficient. Will be returning soon. Highly recommended. a wonderful stay!

One of the best things about the inn was the delicious breakfast that was included in our stay, offering a wide variety of choices to suit every taste.

The only negative aspect of our stay was the noise level. The inn is located on a busy street and the street noise was quite loud even at night.
