Friendly host, spacious rooms, great breakfast, peaceful location, perfect for NC500. Chatty and welcoming, felt like a home. No noise from other rooms. Spotless and comfortable. Delicious Scottish dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended for NC500 travelers.

The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and we really appreciated the spaciousness of the accommodations. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast - we were blown away by the quality and variety of options. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, especially the NC500.

Honestly, there wasn't anything we disliked about our stay. The experience was truly top-notch, with no complaints whatsoever.

our second stay in bowermadden was even better than the first - valhalla b&b was a hidden gem! the host, louise, was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the peaceful surroundings and delicious breakfast made for a perfect honeymoon retreat. beyond our expectations!

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The host, Louise, was amazing and went above and beyond to make my short stay great. As a professional chef, her breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The location was also perfect, allowing me to easily explore the surrounding area.

Louise, the owner, is an incredible host - friendly, welcoming, and energetic. The breakfasts, prepared by Louise who is also a chef, are delicious and beautifully presented. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The house itself is beautiful, modern, and exceptionally clean. Louise's homemade cookies are a delightful treat. The B&B is conveniently located with easy parking. The location is peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. Close proximity to popular attractions such as Dunnet Head, John o' Groats, and the Duncasby Stacks. one of the best places to stay, highly recommended.

We were those taking off early, and the welcoming and friendly atmosphere made us feel at home right away. The spotless, comfortable room with tea and coffee facilities, TV, and en-suite shower room was impressive. The breakfast was the best we've had in a long time, with high-quality produce. Highly recommend for affordable accommodation along the NC500.

We had a fantastic stay at this B&B. Louise, the hostess, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious and the bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel in the countryside made it very quiet and peaceful. It was conveniently close to Castletown, a great spot on the NC500 route.
