We stayed in a hotel in March, a charming market town near London. The hotel's location was ideal, just a short walk to the center and local attractions. The room we had overlooked a lively beer garden, which added to the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the meals at the hotel were excellent and reasonably priced.

The breakfast area lacked a congenial atmosphere, which could have been improved.

Our stay at Ye Olde Griffin was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was a nice size, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We also liked the story of Oliver Cromwell staying here in the 17th century. The free parking was a convenient perk. Even though the hotel is located in a working town, it was perfect for a short stay and provided good value for money. The room upstairs was surprisingly modern and well-equipped, with a good bed, large bathroom, and separate clothes hangers. Despite the events and noise from the bar downstairs, the hotel provided a good atmosphere. The landlord was an excellent host, and the hotel had good access to the areas we needed to be. I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The room size was perfect, and the decor throughout the hotel and bar had a lovely old feel to it.
