The hotel is ideally located in the NH Lakes area near attractions like the Ice Castles and Rocky Mountain railroad. The rooms are fantastic with queen size beds and fabulous bathrooms. The breakfast is delicious with special touches and just the right amount of social interaction.

All was perfect and we had a lovely stay at this hotel.

Cheney House Bed & Breakfast was such a unique and charming place to stay! I loved how the owners, Anthony and Bobbi, made us feel like family. The homemade breakfast was fantastic, and Anthony even gave us great tips on where to explore nearby. I highly recommend this cozy B&B.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Cheney House. The hosts, Anthony and Bobbi, treated us like old friends from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious and the room cozy and clean. a fantastic experience that we highly recommend.

The best aspects of my stay at this bed & breakfast were the location, breakfast, and the friendly staff. The B&B was conveniently located close to everything in the area, including nearby Loon Mountain. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of fresh fruit, baked goods, and cooked-to-order options. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating throughout my stay.

The candy and water in the room were a nice touch, and the bed was really comfortable. the location was great, with beautiful mountains right outside the door. Plus, there were plenty of shopping and dining options nearby.

The jetted tub in the room I stayed in didn't work and the rubber stopper was worn out, so it wouldn't hold water. When I mentioned it to the owner, he wasn't very helpful and just told me that the tub in a different room worked.

The hosts, Anthony and Bobbi, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel like family. Bobbi's delicious breakfasts were a dream, and Anthony even showed me his secret train world in the garage. The 1895 house was beautiful, and the environment was quiet and peaceful. Maybe I'll even see bears in the garden!

The location of the B&B was perfect, with a Rocky Mountain railroad in miniature just down the hill, offering a unique and charming experience. It was also very close to many activities, from skiing in the winter to relaxing at Squam Lake in the summer. The rooms were beautifully decorated in the historic Victorian style, providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. In addition, the service was exceptional, with the owners going out of their way to accommodate guests' needs. The breakfasts were delicious and the hosts even offered gluten-free options. the Cheney House was a fantastic choice for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

One negative aspect was the unkind treatment one guest experienced when trying to cancel a reservation due to illness. This incident goes against the expected basic courtesy and human kindness that should be provided by the owners.

Two thumbs up for the tasty complimentary breakfast and cozy atmosphere. We also appreciated the convenient location close to shops and restaurants. Plus, the friendly pets were a joy to be around.

Our Christmas stay was dampened by uncomfortable beds and a lack of proper heating. We found ourselves shivering all night and unable to sleep well.
