This hotel is located in an attractive neighbourhood close to popular attractions, making it a good base for exploring the city. The friendly staff will happily call DC taxis for you, which charge around $65 plus tip to downtown. Additionally, the spacious rooms are well-stocked with modern facilities and offer a great view of the surrounding area.

The restaurant at the hotel left a lot to be desired. The service was slow, orders were often incorrect, and the dining experience was generally subpar.

We loved staying at this hotel because it was in a great location close to many tourist attractions, a metro stop and Martin's Tavern. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were always happy to help us with anything we needed. The room was elegant with many amenities like ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, in-room safe, flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi. We also enjoyed the garden area, bar/lounge area and restaurant – all of which had great food and drinks. Staff upon check-out were helpful and attentive.

We had a fantastic stay at Fairmont Washington D.C. Georgetown. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We loved the fresh flowers in the bathroom and the luxurious robes provided. The location was perfect for exploring Georgetown and the nearby metro stations made it easy to get around the city. The staff was polite, helpful, and promptly arranged a cab for our early morning airport transfer. The room service was prompt and the food was still hot. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a lovely lobby area and outdoor space. We also enjoyed the large TV and the great range of coffee and tea in the room.

I recently stayed at The Fairmont in Washington for a week-long trip. The hotel was absolutely lovely. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the ambiance of the hotel was excellent. I especially loved the beautiful lighted trees in the courtyard at night. The lobby area was stunning with its glass solarium, providing a bright and inviting atmosphere. I also enjoyed the casual sitting areas overlooking the outdoor terrace. Additionally, the hotel's prime location made it easy for me to access a variety of cultural and historic sites in every direction. It was also a short walk to wonderful restaurants and grocery stores like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. The hotel staff provided excellent service, with a special mention to the hospitable bartender, Sumil, who had great knowledge about the city and the hotel. The Fairmont exceeded my expectations in every way.
