The room was clean and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities like a Keurig machine. the common areas were great for relaxing, with Adirondack chairs outside and a cozy fireplace in the lobby. the heated pool and hot tub were clean and provided a nice place to unwind. the breakfast had a good variety of both hot and cold options, making it a delicious and enjoyable start to the day.

The initial smell in the room and hallway was unpleasant. the hot tub in our room was dirty upon arrival, which was not appealing.

Additionally, the hotel's location was ideal, as it was conveniently close to the main street and a Walmart for any last-minute necessities. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the closed indoor pool due to inclement weather and the lack of an elevator, I would definitely recommend Stoney Creek Inn to friends and family. my experience was positive and I enjoyed my stay.

The room was very spacious and clean, giving us plenty of room to relax. the bathroom was also quite large and well, maintained. the breakfast options were impressive with a good variety to choose from. the bustling dining room showed how popular it was, so be sure to arrive early for a good seat. the location of the hotel was also perfect, close to key attractions in the city.

The bar didn't meet my expectations and had some pricing inconsistencies. the noise level was a bit high with kids running around the hallway and pets barking at all hours.

As backpackers, we loved the cozy feel of the lobby with the fireplace and the unique decor throughout the hotel. The pool and hot tub area with its outdoor-themed design was a great place to relax, especially since it is adults only after 10pm. The complimentary coffee and water in the lobby were a nice touch, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff at the front desk were fantastic and the bathroom in our room was spacious.

The rooms were nicely decorated with a cozy cabin feel and had all the amenities we needed. the pool and spa area was clean and enjoyable. the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of a great Mexican restaurant and only a mile away from town.

There was some noise from trucks on the road and the guests above us were extremely noisy. the TV kept losing channels and had to be reset multiple times.

For the price we paid, we got great value. Our room was spacious and the cute cabin design made us feel cozy. The location was convenient, close to downtown and plenty of stores. The staff was amazing, providing A+ service at the front desk and even allowing us to bring our dog along on our family getaway. The long hours for the pool, spa, and fitness room were a great bonus. The bath products were top-notch and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job. we felt pampered and would definitely stay again.

Breakfast delights could have been better with more variety. The main course was repeated for the three nights we were there, leaving only two different choices.

I recently stayed at Stoney Creek Inn in Galena for a weekend getaway. The location was great and our room was surprisingly quiet, even though the hotel was fully booked. The receptionist was extremely helpful when we had an issue with the running water in the toilet. I was impressed with the unique decoration throughout the hotel, especially the sketches on the wood around the mirrors. The cleanliness and comfort of the room were top-notch, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The bath towels were better than what I usually find in chain hotels, and the price was very reasonable. The pool and hot tub, while not large, were clean and well-maintained, perfect for a quick dip or relaxation. The free breakfast was prompt and hot, with a good selection of items like eggs, hash browns, sausage, self-made waffles, and coffee/juices. I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Stoney Creek Inn.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.
